The exhibition
MÖRKRETS HJÄRTA, (eng: Heart of Darkness) has taken its title from the classical novel of 1902 by Joseph Conrads. The participating artists are; Jessica Faiss, Johanna Gustafsson, Lisa Jeannin, My Lindh, Linda Tedsdotter and Ylva Westerlund represent a wide range of expressions and method, from the very subtle to the grandious.
The curator of the exhibition, Johanna Gustafsson, who also are one of the exhibiting artists are working with the concept of of reversed structual hierarcies were networking is a crucial aspect of her method. In this exhibition she has invited five artists to an ongoing discussion to initiate a working process where all are involved and contributed in all the aspects of the exhibition. In the catalouge produced for the exhibition the participating artists are introduced by six invited writers.
